Simple is the name of the game this week. I needed something delicious in a hurry and had to combine two separate recipes to get this masterpiece. It was so worth it! Rich and velvety peanut butter filling with a chocolate cookie crust is magnificent and so easy. You won't regret adding this recipe to your stable of favorites.
25 chocolate sandwich cookies, crushed
5 tablespoons of butter, melted
3/4 cup creamy peanut butter
4 ounces cream cheese, softened
8 ounces whipped cream
1 cup powdered sugar
Prepare the crust by placing crush cookies and melted butter in a large ziplock bag or large bowl. Combine. Press mixture into a pie plate and set in the refrigerator while preparing filling.
In a large bowl, mix together filling ingredients until smooth.
Spread filling over pie crust and refrigerate for at least two hours. Viola! You now have an irresistible treat for any chocolate and peanut butter lover.
