Feeding My Kindle ~ August 5th, 2013

I've been a busy bee the last few weeks and my Kindle has been very satisfied. Since I have aquired 29 eBooks since my last FMK post on July 22nd, I will just give you a look at the best of the lot.

Seducing Cinderella (Fighting for Love, #1)This was one I found while trolling one of my favorite publisher's website, Entangled Publishing. This is the story of an Mixed Martial Arts fighter recovering from a shoulder injury and the woman who fills in for his regular physical therapist. His PT happens to be his best friend's little sister all grown up. She's looking for a man who she is compatible with, but is having a little trouble. The sexy MMA fighter agrees to give her lessons in exchange for her PT services 24/7. The attraction is there on both sides and can have interesting results.

The Things We Can't Change Part One: The Prologue
This is the beginning of a series that looks very promising. On the outside, Evie has the perfect life while Zeke has hit rock bottom. A chance meeting has Zeke learning Evie's secret. Their worlds collide and nothing will ever be the same.
Rainwater Kisses: A Billionaire Love Story

This is one of those wedding stories I love. The maid of honor and best man are the focus here. Kaylee is happy with her humdrum life as a Physician's Assistant in Des Moines, Iowa. When she meet Owen, the best man in her younger sister's wedding, she tries but fails not to fall for the handsome billionaire. Trouble with her hectic schedule at the hospital and him flying from Iowa to New York and sometimes even Dubai for business, this relationship seems doomed to fail. Can they make it work?

The Morning After The title drew me in with this one. Cara is on the way to a dream life when one picture with her friend, Hollywood heartthrob Ethan, bring it all crumbling down. When the media becomes relentless, Cara accepts Ethan's offer to stay with him in Malibu. Can the man who never lets a woman into his heart make room for his best friend?

Young widowed mother Zoe isn't looking for love after losing her husband, Josh, to an eight month battle with a brain tumor. Josh's cousin, Adam, who actually introduced the pair, has slipped back into her life. He wants to do the right thing by his cousin's wife but he can't help the feelings he's had for her since the day they met.
Lady Dearing's Masquerade

This looks like another juicy historical romance. Lady Dearing is relieved to be a widow and away from her unhappy marriage. On a lark, she attends as Masquerade and shares a passionate kiss with a stranger. That kiss practically ruins her. Two years later, the kiss is still haunting the stranger, Sir Jeremy Fairhill. When he finds his mystery woman working at the hospital where he sits on the Board of Governors a dangerous passion erupts once again.

Destination Wedding
So, how funny would it be if you were a wedding coordinator and think you kissed your newest groom on a flight to the destination wedding of your career? That's what Kate thinks happened, but she actually kissed the groom's identical twin. When Luke is finally introduced to Kate as himself, Kate thinks she has feelings for both brothers. What a sticky situation to be in. Poor Kate.
Force of Nature

This is a new novella by my friend, Sydney Logan. This is a story about what happens when two people who have danced around their feelings for almost a year end up trapped alone together after a tornado.
The Howling Heart

I reviewed this one for the blog tour this last week and absolutely loved it. You can check out my review HERE. This is a totally new look at the human/wolf phenomenon. The idea in this story is they are wolves that are gift by a Norse God the ability to take human form. It's a rollercoaster love story as Paige attempts to figure out how life can work with Riley, the wolf that loves her.

There are the nine best out of the twenty-nine. Over the last couple of weeks I've read "The Howling Heart", "Annihilate Me: Vol. 1", "Force of Nature", "Destination Wedding", "Rainwater Kisses", "Fresh Temptation", "Seducing Cinderella", "Bittersweet" and "One Week Girlfriend".

Until next time!
