Flasher Fiction Fridays! "What?"

Welcome to another week of Flasher Fiction Fridays. This weeks pic is anything but innocent on the surface, but I looked on it with rather innocent eyes. If you'd like to know what my flasher friends saw with only 100 words, their links are all listed HERE.

"What?" by Lindsey Gray

“What are they doing?”

“Move over so I can see.” One boy elbowed the other to get him away from the keyhole. “I think they are reading the paper or something, but she doesn't have her shirt on. She must be cold.” He moved back so his brother could look through again.

“But Dad isn't wearing a shirt or pants.” He looked down and thought hard as the voices whispered on the other side of the door.

“Billy says parents talk naked all the time in their room.”

“About what?”

“Birds and bees.”

  3. Loved it. Billy is a trouble maker. The boys are learning about the birds and bees a bit early, but it's every parents nightmare to get caught in the act by the kids. Well done!

  4. Hmm, someone is getting an advanced education. And those parents need to learn to cover up that lock hole.

  5. OMG, love this one! So cute and a scenario many parents and kids probably have probably gone through at some point in their lives. :)

  9. Swwwwwwwwwwweeeeeeeeeetttttttttttttt!! O loved this touching portrayal of youthful curiosity. Haven'e we all secretly wanted to peek, at least once, on what our parents really DID do that we could hear through the heater vents? Loved this:) xo
